Meet Kris Rider
Founder / NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Hi! I’m Kris. The dreamer and hustler behind Sessions Wellness Studio. I wanted to create a community that centered around living well and aging well. 100 amazing clients joined the virtual FitKris Family during 2020, while I kept an eye on the world waiting for it to reopen. Now, I’m finally able to pull together my massage therapy, nutrition, and fitness experience to create an in-person studio to grow our fit family.
I have been a certified Massage Therapist for 16 years. I discovered my joy for coaching and became a NASM certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist. I also earned a group fitness certification, TRX certification, and a 200-hour yoga teacher certification… I like to keep busy! Along the way, I also competed in 4 fitness competitions. The most important qualification? I’ve coached hundreds of women through incredible body and mind transformations. (Check out some of them under the “Testimonials” tab!)
I wasn’t always FitKris. I spent my 30s uncomfortable in my skin. I lost myself in motherhood and stopped carving time out for myself. The turning point came once I hired a coach that changed my mindset around health. I ate to fuel my body (instead of restricting calories) and it allowed me to get the body I always dreamed of- in my 40s! Now, I live to help others shift their mindsets and live their healthiest life.
